Purchase of freehold home in Gosport, Hampshire, PO12

Our Fridaysmove conveyancing Gosport team, in September 2009, handled the purchase conveyancing for a freehold, for a residence located at Gosport in Hampshire.  £147, 000. 00w as the estimated value of the property, and was in the local authority area of Gosport Council.

Expertly prepared conveyancing enquiries were forwarded within the same day of receiving the conveyancing agreement (including Standard Conditions of Sale).

As this property was in a conservation area, conveyancers needed to take extra precautions in case any alterations had been made.  The Land Registry Office copies that were supplied were out of date and so fresh copies were requested from the registered owners conveyancing solicitor.

The Land Registry documentation revealed that the property was subject to restrictions/rights/covenants as set out in a conveyance dated 23rd September 1860.  It was important that we checked with the registered owners conveyancing specialist that these restrictions had been fully complied with.

The property expert, Jane Lim, was the lawyer in charge of conveyancing in the Gosport area.

The estate agent's particulars of sale detailing the registered owners conveyancing specialist, were obtained shortly before receiving the conveyancing agreement.  The estate agent was Your Move (branch covering Gosport).

The seller's conveyancing solicitor in Gosport was Clifton Ingram LLP.
