A popular Norwich city pub is opening its bar to businesses involved in house-buying to help people in the Golden Triangle understand conveyancing in Norwich
The ‘Unthank Arms’ in Newmarket Street, is opening its doors to an estate agent, a conveyancing solicitor, a Home Information Pack (HIP) provider and a mortgage broker to use the pub over two weekends.
Publican Nick De’Ath has introduced the initiative because the area is a popular place to live, with houses selling quickly. He commented:
“Homeowners get lots of leaflets through their door but what they really need is living, breathing experts they can talk to in an informal setting. By hosting these surgeries, we allow home owners to get information on neutral ground. ”
Property professionals will be available to offer advice on estate agency services, conveyancing, HIP arrangements and mortgages. Moving homes can be a very stressful experience- this stress can be alleviated by being prepared and speaking to a panel of local experts to give you advice and guidance to help you plan your move and understand the cost involved.
The pub will be offering free conveyancing advice over two weekends initially- Saturday, January 30 and Saturday, February 6, between 10am and 12. 30pm. However, if these sessions prove successful, they may run similar events throughout 2010.
