Conveyancing notes on Purchase of freehold property in Redland, Bristol, BS6

In Autumn 2009 the Fridaysmove residential team took instruction on the purchase conveyancing for a freehold for a property valued at around £526, 000. 00 located at Redland, Bristol, BS6.

The local authority area of the residence is Bristol City Council. Additional enquiries were raised within the same day of receiving letter with draft contract papers (including Standard Conditions of Sale, Official Copies, Land Registry Documentation). As this property is in a conservation area, conveyancers had to take extra precautions in case any alteration have been made.

The Land Registry documentation showed that the Bristol property was subject to restrictions or covenants shown in a conveyance dated 09/06/1853. We had to check with the sellers conveyancing solicitor that they had been fully complied with.

Gemma Farguson was the property lawyer in charge of conveyancing in Cotham, Bristol. The estate agent was the Chappell and Matthews branch covering Cotham. The seller's conveyancing solicitor Cotham was Cooke Painter and Shepstone – DX 51051 Brislington Bristol.
