Once you have obtained a Formal Freehold Valuation and had the offer in your Section 13 Notice accepted by the freeholder, you will need to draw up and sign a contract of sale between Leaseholder and Freeholder.

You must move quickly as the contract must be entered into within 2 months of the terms being agreed.

Fridaysmove panel of Solicitors are expert at working within these deadlines.  It is particularly important that you work with a proactive Solcitor on complex areas of property law such as ‘Collective Enfranchisement’ as the Freeholder may have agreed the terms but might not actually be that motivated to complete.
