Purchase of freehold residential dwelling :Ickenham, UB10

In October 2008 our property conveyancing Ickenham team handled the purchase conveyancing for a freehold for a residential dwelling valued at around £310,000.00 located at Uxbridge, UB10. This home is in the local authority area of Hillingdon Council Borough Of London - www.hillingdon.gov.uk/.

Enquiries were issued within the same day of receiving purchase agreement with ancillary conveyancing documentation (including Official Copies). The Land Registry Office Copies supplied revealed that the owners had owned the property for less than five years and as such there was a danger that the transfer of the property to the seller could be set aside if it was established that the property within that five year period was a Transfer at Undervalue. The Land Registry documentation revealed that the property was subject to restrictions/rights/covenants as set out in a conveyance dated 23/06/1931.
