Purchase of freehold property: Conveyancing Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, CM23

In October 2009, our property conveyancing Bishops Stortford team acted on the purchase conveyancing for a freehold, for a property valued at around £249,000.00.  This property was located at Bishop's Stortford in Herts.  This residence was also in the local authority area of East Hertfordshire District Council.

Specific conveyancing enquiries were sent within the same day of receiving sale and purchase agreement (including Copy Deeds). The Office Copies obtained from the Land Registry revealed that there was more than one mortgage over the property.  We had to make sure that the vendors were not in negative equity and able to discharge all mortgages over the property.

A right of way was revealed in the Office Copies supplied by the Land Registry. Our conveyancing lawyer ensured that the right of way would be used without interruption and without causing a nuisance to the vendors.
