Notice to Complete

Following exchange of contracts if either the purchaser or vendor in fail to comply with the terms of the contract on the completion date, the party who is ready to complete is entitled to serve ( via their property solicitor ) a Notice to Complete.

This Notice will set out the fact the party is ready, willing and able to complete in accordance with the contract and put the other party on notice that he is entitled to interest – at the rate set out in the contract - plus costs and compensation for any losses incurred as a result of the delay and may be entitled to forfeit the deposit.

Other penalties and damages may also apply depending on the circumstances.
