HIPs providers nervous as UK Election gets under way

Pure Home Information Pack Providers are today nervously looking at the unfolding Election as the UK goes to the Polls! Two out of the main three parties have promised to abolish the Home Information Pack - and in the case of the Conservatives to do it very quickly without any word of a replacement!  At least the Liberal Democrats will keep the EPC part of it - which will give the HIP providers something at least!

But HIP Providers must be in danger of losing their businesses very quickly - putting anyone who orders a HIP from them in a perilous position!  What if you pay for your HIP, and then they go bust?  Don't say we didn't warn you!!

Here at Fridaysmove we essentially give HIPs away for free to our Conveyancing customers, which potentially costs us hundreds of thousands of pounds a month!  So the HIP being abolished could well save us a few quid!  

The main thing is that we're certainly in no danger of going belly up if the HIP does meet a grisly end!  Unlike some of the HIP Providers!
