Congratulations to the several firms of Conveyancing Solicitors in Birmingham which were recently accepted onto the Law Society's Quality Conveyancing Scheme
The scheme was set up last year to provide a benchmark for the provision of Conveyancing services by Solicitors. It is designed to ensure that firms provide a high level of consumer service.
Some of the many Conveyancing Solicitors in Birmingham who have now received CQS accreditation under include:
- Redfern & Co of 23 Colmore Row, Birmingham, West Midlands B3 2BP
- The Wilkes Partnership of 41 Church Street, Birmingham B3 2RT England
- Charles & Co of 16-17 Caroline Street, Birmingham B3 1TR
In order to be accepted Conveyancing Solicitors in Birmingham and elsewhere in the country must undergo an assessment to demonstrate that they meet the Society's many requirements.
Once accepted, firms will need to continue to show that they comply with the scheme and to ensure that both their Property Lawyers and support staff undertake ongoing professional training and development.
Speaking of his firm's admission, Leonard Jacobs says:
“Redfern & Co. is delighted to have secured CQS status. It is recognition of the high standards we provide to our residential property clients and is a signal to future home buyers of the excellent service level we provide at what is often a stressful time for many people. ”
Accreditation should also indicate that member firms are accepted by mortgage lenders, making it more likely that a buyer's lenders will be prepared to instruct the same firm to act for them in connection with any mortgage.
