Conveyancing Solicitor Position in London - In-House

This is a rare opportunity for a Conveyancing Solicitor to join a driven team of property marketing specialists in a multidisciplinary role.

We are an innovative, national legal and survey services company, and require an experienced and confident property lawyer to progress our rollout of professional property services.

The successful candidate will work within our online team, covering a range of areas including authoring legal content, blogging and service and product development.

You will experience:

 

  • Immersion in the sharp end of Legal Services reform.
  • The opportunity to collaborate with our national network of Solicitors’ practices.
  • A steep learning curve in online marketing.
  • The chance to become a 'thought leader' within your sector - building a significant personal online profile, and holding a platform to express your ideas, feelings, frustrations and concerns about the state of property legal services.

 

You will likely be:

 

  • At least 3yrs+ PQE.
  • An experienced hands-on residential conveyancer.
  • Interested in the broader property market.
  • Opinionated about recent developments in the sector.
  • A 'left field' thinker 

 

You will certainly be:

 

  • Highly literate and able to adopt writing styles beyond legal drafting.
  • Structured in your working methods, and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Engaged with online marketing and willing to increase your profile.
  • Committed to the idea that consumers deserve the highest possible levels of service.

 

You will most certainly not be:

 

  • A 'nine-to-fiver'.
  • Scared to leave your comfort zone.

 

Simply put, we need someone who sees the label "Conveyancing Solicitor" as the beginning of their professional development, not the goal.

Due to the unique and diverse nature of this role, we propose an initial 3 month contract.  

However, for the candidate who proves to be exceptional and essential to our continued success, we fully anticipate that the position will evolve into a key on-going role with our organisation.
